In this workshop, we will learn all about rhubarb! Participants will learn about growing and harvesting rhubarb from one of the largest rhubarb farms in North America. The workshop will move into the kitchen as participants learn different methods of preparing this underestimated yet versatile vegetable. The rhubarb workshop involves a combination of instruction, hands-on activities, and taste testing in the farm kitchen. Each participant will go home with freshly harvested rhubarb, rhubarb chutney, and delicious recipes to try.
The cost is $45/per person (plus HST). There is a limited number of spots available so please register in advance. This workshop will proceed rain or shine, so dress for the weather!
Workshop date – Saturday, June 8th from 1 – 3 pm.
