On Saturday, December 23rd at 3pm we will be closing for the 2023 year – and what a year it has been! We have harvested vegetables from February to December and spent countless hours tending the fields and taking care of the soil. Our farm market has been open 6 days a week since early March and we have hosted kitchen classes, workshops, farm tours, and dinner experiences. We have supported a number of community events and coordinated community fundraisers, as well as hosting a monthly Give Back campaign.
As December comes to a close, we begin to slow down a bit and catch our breath. We now have a chance to reflect on the past year. We feel sincere gratitude for the support of our customers and the opportunity to grow for the community. We take pride in being stewards of the land and are grateful to live and work in such a beautiful and bountiful area.
For the next few months we will be busy behind the scenes planning for the year ahead and catching up on projects that we haven’t had time to complete. In February we will start harvesting winter rhubarb and as of March our seeding will begin. We will open our Market doors to public again in late March 2024, just in time for Easter.
May your holidays be filled with family, friends, good health, and delicious food!
All the best in 2024,
The French Family
